How does the Club work?
The 200 Club consists of 200 shares that are allocated on a first come first served basis and entered into a prize draw each half term. The draws take place on the last assembly of each half term, alternating between the Junior and
How much does it cost to join?
Each share costs £12 for the school year and entitles your share into each draw. It is possible to buy shares on a termly basis for £5 per term and this allows the share holder to enter into both draws for that term. Cheques payable to “Oaklands Schools PTA” in an envelope marked The 200 Club
How can I join?
Each term, Sarah Bamford will issue application forms via the schools, inviting participants to buy shares. The application form will come home via the children. The application forms are also available on the website under the forms section, email Sarah directly at sarahbamf@btinternet.com or visit the school offices, where spare forms can be obtained.
Who draws the numbers?
The draws take place in assemblies alternating between the Junior and Infant schools.
When can I apply for a share?
Applications for shares are immediate, any unsold shares will be available for purchase on a termly basis at £5 per term. The first draw will take place in the Autumn at the end of the first half term of the new academic year.
Who can buy shares?
Applications are welcome from anyone including friends and relatives, who are not directly involved in the school.
What happens to unsold shares?
Any unsold shares are retained by the PTA. If an unsold share is drawn, the money is retained by The 200 Club.
