What is an after school club?
A club offers a safe place for children, outside school hours, to enable their parents to work, study or just have time to themselves. The children are collected from their classrooms and taken to the club which is held in the Junior School Hall on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and in the Infants School Hall on Wednesdays and Thursdays. When they get to the club they are registered, offered a snack and drink and are free to play or complete homework until their parents arrive.
What does the club offer?
The After School Club (ASC) provides a range of activities in a comfortable and safe environment. Arts and crafts, games and sport, story-telling and outdoor play are just some of the activities offered. There is an opportunity for homework and quiet play. Activities vary each day and each week to meet the children's social, physical, intellectual, cognitive and emotional needs.
There is a one off registration fee of £20 per family. We charge £7.50 per session for the first child and £7.00 per session for each sibling. Sessions are from
3:15pm
to
6:00pm
Monday to Friday, term time only.
How do I know the club is up to scratch?
We are inspected annually & regulated by Ofsted. The Certificate of Registration and a copy of our insurance policy are always displayed at the club. All staff are required to be checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and we ensure that the appropriate ratios of qualified staff are present at all times. In addition, all our staff have extensive experience of working with children.
