Dear Parents,
We will be holding Parent Teacher Forums again this year. The idea of this is that parents will have an opportunity to meet with their child's class teacher at an open meeting. The meeting is not intended to be to discuss individual children or their progress, but an opportunity for the teacher and parents to meet as a group and discuss such things as classroom activities, homework, assessment etc.
It will also give you as parents an opportunity to feed in any ideas. These meetings will take place on Tuesday 18th September for Years 5 and 6 (Classes 5-8), and on Wednesday 19th September for Years 3 and 4 (Classes 1-4). The meetings will begin at 7.0 p.m. and are expected to last for 45 minutes only. I hope that you will be able to support this event. The forum meeting is not intended to replace the Parent Consultation Evenings. These will take place in October, when you will be able to meet individually with the teacher to discuss matters relating to your own child.
